The Wizard of Oz on TBS today

In HD, I've always wondered in the tornado sequence, was Judy's double Bobbi Something used in those scenes when she's trying to get back to the farm and walking into the wind machine? There was a lot of crap flying around and you'd think they'd use a double and not risk Judy being injured. I think it's here double but can't tell. However when Dorothy falls into the pig pen, that is definitely a stunt double. And you can see up her dress too!!!!

• I remember its yearly network TV showing being at Eater, not Xmas.

• I want ALL the special features. that fuckin' sucks, you have to buy 100 different versions to get the extras.

• They poisoned people, set them on fire, gave them bone injury, etc They didn't think about much back then. The film is one of the worst edited motion pictures in history. I like seeing Margaret Hamilton's double in the opening of her Munchkin Land scene.

• Lots of continuity flubs. Judy's pigtails, her shoes, etc.

• It didn't help that director Victor Fleming was pulled off Oz before filming was complete, to take over Gone with the Wind.

• This has been asked before, but never answered completely: What year is this supposed to be taking place? And before you say "1939" (when the movie was made), think about it: the farm equiptment, the clothes, no cars, etc. The book is early 1900's.

• It went on too long. They should've stopped it right after she said, "You've always had the power to go home." I never did buy the ending in the original either.
