- LOL, your title cracks me up, OP. As if "white" is the operative word or something. LOL!
As for their lack of offspring, well, maybe they just don't want any. Not all couples want kids.
- She's hot - he looks like the subject of a "this serial killer/spree shooter makes Mama's mussy MOIST!!" DL thread
- She's a very beautiful woman and a fairly competent actress in the stuff I've seen her in. Why hasn't she had a bigger career?
- His chin is weird.
- I like her but it's never been clear what she "does" exactly: she's done stand-up (and she's... just okay), she done sitcoms, and lots of hosting/talking-head TV. She probably should host her own talk show.
- Maybe he's shooting blanks or her egg carton is empty.
Moi
- Does she come from money? Her career, such as it is, can't have been that lucrative.
- Oh I see now that she's on that Chenbot View-type show.
r7
- Thanks OP. I wanted to know what he looks like since Aisha talks about him a lot on The Talk. He's handsome.
- I like her, but yeah she never really nailed down a career path. I think she's a decent actress.
- Wow, she could've done much better than that guy. He looks like an addict. Not cute at all.
- She's a Jill of all Trades:
Commedienne
Actress
Host
There was a rumor some years back that she owed a former manager of hers a lot of money.
- I was surprised to see her pop up on the Christmas episode of GLEE - as Puck II's black mom. Wasted.
But I bet Ryan Murphy is a fan from her days hosting "Talk Soup" on E!
-
I like her, but yeah she never really nailed down a career path.
What do you mean? She's best known for her role on Friends. She starred in Friends as the black friend. People were complaining that the show was too white and that they didn't know anyone of color living in NYC so the producers added her.
- Why is it no surprise that her husband would be white? I just knew it. She just seemed like the white-washed type who wouldn't date black.
- She has a pretty popular podcast.
- She said on 'The Talk' that she does not want kids.
- R15, Racist much? Blacks who love to keep other black people in a box. "She ain't down or hood enough". Fuck off and go back to your projects.
Black%20people
- Yes, she is very racist. Wouldn't give a brother a chance.
-
But I bet Ryan Murphy is a fan from her days hosting "Talk Soup" on E!
I'll always remember Aisha as such a breath of fresh air hosting "Talk Soup" after the loathsome Hal Sparks' run. They were like night and day. I know Sparks ended up on QAF, which shocked me, but he was really homophobic on Talk Soup. I constantly had fantasies about beating the crap out of him. And then Aisha was so gay-friendly.
- R14 Is visiting us from a vegetative state.
- I remember reading a blind item about a black actress in Hollywood that hated black people. Talked down about them, didn't date black men, etc etc. The solver site said it was her. I know you take those things with a grain of salt but it always made a lot of sense to me. You NEVER see her photographed with Black Hollywood or at Black events.
- If she hates blacks, she must be very humiliated having to interact with that fat black woman comedian or whatever she is on The Talk. What was the purpose of them hiring her? She's embarrassing. If Aisha's one of those blacks who hate blacks, I'm disappointed, but there are more black male stars with white women than there are the opposite.
- Blind items are for morons. There's always going to be someone who wants to tear down a skinny, pretty woman like Aisha. Accusing her of being an Oreo is something I'd imagine a fat, bitter slob like Sherri Shepherd would do.
-
You NEVER see her photographed with Black Hollywood or at Black events.
Why would she? She considers herself white. You wouldn't see Jennifer Aniston photographed with Black Hollywood or at Black events either.
-
You NEVER see her photographed with Black Hollywood or at Black events.
Funny, I"ve seen her at both the BET Awards and the NAACP Awards.
- All the black guys I know hate black women and just barely tolerate other black men. I don't get it. I mean, they've explained their reasons to me, but I still can't wrap my head around it.
- I loved her on Talk Soup back in the day. She was good in The Ghost Whisper too, and I was pissed when they wrote her off, as she's great eye candy.
- It's self hatred R27. Not all blacks have the negative aspects that your black friend has related to you. For him to lump all blacks together to his white friends, is simply pure ignorance.
- R29, I'm talking about 4 different guys, though. And 3 of them have the exact same "reasons" for only dating white, hispanic or asian women and hating other black guys. The 4th hates his mom so won't date black women, but doesn't have a problem with other black guys. I agree that it's racist and I've told them I think so but what I don't understand is how they can convince themselves that the wild generalizations they base their hatred of other black people and mostly intensely black women on can in any way be true being black themselves and presumably not thinking these awful things are true of themselves.
- r28 - her turn on the Ghost Whisperer ended because she decided to leave, and the role of 'sassy best friend' to Jennifer Love Hewitt was played going forward by Camryn Mannheim, you know, because in Hollywood white girts always have sassy best friends who are black, obese or both.
- R30, what do your friends say about other black guys?
- Another fan here from her [italic]Talk Soup[/italic] days. She was much funnier on that show than when she's done stand-up.
- R32, the 3 who don't like other black guys are light skinned and it seems to be a matter of having been discriminated against by darker skinned men, treated as though they aren't manly or really black by them so avoiding other black men so they aren't "put in their place" so to speak. They also just don't seem to really be comfortable around most other men in general. The one who hates his mom is dark skinned and has many guy friends of all sorts.
-
It's self hatred [R27].
They say that black women are too demanding.
- He's gotta have a big dick.
Every black or biracial woman I know who's dating/married to a white guy has required her man to have sizemeat. (And is not shy about talking about it.)
- She said that she married a white guy because her credit was bad. She said that she grew up with only white people. She also makes fun of the fact that even though she's black, she has no ass. She did a music video for it.
- I think he's hot. He's also got a good job, and who the hell has heard anyone in Hollywood having a marriage lasting 20 years?!
- How old she that she could be married for 20 years?
- I love her and I'm glad that she's found a lasting, meaningful relationship.
Black men date white women all the time and no one says anything yet when a black woman does it, it's suddenly a thing? Give me a break.
BTW, "race" doesn't exist. It's a social construct.
- She went to Dartmouth. She probably wanted to marry someone of equal education. That dramatically increases the probability that she would marry outside her race.

-
Black men date white women all the time and no one says anything yet when a black woman does it, it's suddenly a thing? Give me a break.
Are you kidding me? Black men dating whites is not a thing? Tell that to the black women.
-
BTW, "race" doesn't exist. It's a social construct.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever read. I can clearly see that she's black.
- Yes, I'll tell that to the black women with their long history of lynchings and forbidden fruit black man/white woman porn, r42.
- She's very pretty and it's nice to see a very pretty black woman attempt stand-up but her comedy is awful and she killed Talk Soup. Notice they didn't replace but but ended the show before it was "reborn" as The Soup. I agree that she might be a decent solo talk show host.
She told Andy Cohen that she's still good friends with Lisa Kudrow and that LeBlanc and Perry went out of their way to be nice to her and make her feel welcome. Reading between the lines, it sounded like Aniston and Cox were bitchy and territorial(which is what Tom Selleck said about them, too).
- What about her love interest, Schwimmer?
-
That's the stupidest thing I've ever read. I can clearly see that she's black.
You fool. I'm not talking about superficial skin color. That is a physical trait like blonde/brown hair, blue/green eyes, tall/short height.
"Race" is the artificial and arbitrary categorization and segregation of entire groups of people based on discriminatory pseudo-science crocked up in the 19th Century to excuse colonial imperialism.
Take a fucking critical theory course and learn to use your simplistic brain.
- I also liked that Aisha's character was an educated black woman who held her own.
- Why do posters like R22 make up shit.

- So what if we just swapped out "race" with "ethnicity", R47? Happy now? I don't think anyone even mentioned "race" until you. You must be the life of the party.
-
Black men date white women all the time and no one says anything
People talk about it either way. You are full of it.
- And R49 that was taken at the She by Sheree show.
- Schwimmer was the reason she got on "Friends" so I assume he made her feel welcome. Cox and Aniston seem like bitchy sorority girls.
- No R52

- How or why did Schwimmer get her on Friends?
- Schwimmer comes from a very progressive family and he was uncomfortable with the whiteness of Friends. He went to the producers with Tyler's name. He later co-wrote/adapted "Race" at Lookingglass.
- WEHT David Schwimmer anyway? He's the only one of the Friends who hasn't come back to TV.
Now he's just a punchline on GLEE. I was watching it with my teenage niece the other night and when Kate Hudson called Lea "Schwimmer" my niece asked why I laughed - what was the joke? Then I realized my niece was born in 1998, and when Friends left the air in 2004 she was only 6.
- Isn't she also on Archer as the voice of Lana?
- Ugh, fucking Archer. Someone, please explain the appeal of Archer. TIA.
- Love Archer.
- Aisha Tyler is absolutely hysterical and I wish she had found more of a niche for herself. She showed her stuff on Talk Soup and people have been trying to find something for her to do ever since. She's had lot of opportunities and is still getting them. LOVE her. I agree with the poster that said she had a lot more ability to show what she can do on Talk Soup. She was funny as hell, even if it was like 20 years ago.
-
Ugh, fucking Archer. Someone, please explain the appeal of Archer. TIA.
Get back to your Golden Girls thread.
Archer is the funniest show on television.
- So, lemme understand this...the majority of you only date within your own race? Please tell me that's not true...
- He ugly.
- Aisha is cute
-
So, lemme understand this...the majority of you only date within your own race? Please tell me that's not true...
How long have you been on DL?
- "Race" is the human version of "breed", whether we admit it or not.
- .

- She's awesome on "Archer".
Nate
- Funny R68. She's still got it.
- She was in that Kanye/Jamie Foxx/Twista video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrMrqBcv6Mk
- He looks like he beats her and makes her scream "Massa" as he fantasy rapes her.
He looks fucking evil.
- r43, whether you can see that she's black or not - that's you buying into the social construct that is "race".
Race does not exist. It is a construct of white supremacist culture.
-
I remember reading a blind item about a black actress in Hollywood that hated black people. Talked down about them, didn't date black men, etc etc. The solver site said it was her. That blind item was Stacey Dash.
- She's a regular on Stephanie Miller's radio show. Very smart and quick.
- Tietjens? He has Dutch Elm Disease. Can't get wood.
- The BM that I have known who diss openly BW and other Blacks are closet cases using the nonBlack women as beards while they feast on white dick.
How dumb can you be that is subterfuge and so common its textbook.
Anyway, why are yall claiming racist closet cases as friends? those types of BM try to latch onto me with their bullshit. Imagine what they say about you behind your back. No thanks I don't need self haters in my circle of friends.
-
Race does not exist. It is a construct of white supremacist culture.
Yeah, uh, huh. Go out and play, dear.
- Was disappointed that it is so hard to find this elusive husband that is mentioned so much. The pictures I have seen appear to be Aisha standing behind or near a poster of a man. I also feel that I am reading a review of Aisha that was created and written by her to support the supposed hot career that just popped up when she got the job on The Talk. She talks first, most, about everything and she has done it all.....let her tell it. She claims getting married at age 19, but met her husband in college and has never dated anyone but him. Then she offers a show where she knows what every man wants? She seems to be everywhere, know everything and still cannot seem to afford a really good stylist who can make her hair match.......smells like fairy tail to me. Oh yes, I agree that Cheryl is not as she should be on the show (The Talk). When I first heard of her coming to the show, I expected the sharp on key witty educated and politically active woman she was on the radio. This watered down clown they have her portraying is very sad. Never liked Aisha as a comedian and Sheryl is a letdown.

- After she did Friends, I remember there was some talk about Lisa Kudrow producing a sitcom starring Aisha but nothing came of it.
