Do you like your friends?

I have a friend, who I really don't like, but he is one of the few single people I know who likes to go to fine restaurants. So without him, I would probably rarely do this, which is something I really enjoy.

• How exactly do you dump a friend... I have a hag that wont let me drop her. I feel so rude when she texts me and I don't text her back. She'll say things like "have I done something to annoy you?" or "are you mad at me?" How the hell do you answer those questions??

• [R7] How do you tell someone you are dumping them? Really? You must enjoy abusing her while she remains in the dark. Do your miserable self a favor and tell her the truth. She might be hurt but will learn to avoid the likes of you in the future.

• While I think OP's an idiot, he didn't say anything about him being the one who *pays* for dinner each time. I also have a few foodie friends who are typically the only ones I know up for trying out hot new restaurants on a regular basis - the difference being, however, that I actually *like* them. We always pay our own separate tabs.

• Just to clarify: I didn't say I dislike him. I just don't particularly like him. I wish I liked him more. But I don't. We have a pleasant enough conversation and a good meal. And we split the bill. Not everyone has a fairy tale life where all their relationships are perfect.
