She couldn't even get a Best Actress nomination at the Golden Globes. Her studio even prepped a trailer touting her 'nomination'. Ooops.

• I'm not a usual Babs fan, and I make fun of her nutty worshippers on DL. But I actually think she might be good in this. The one thing I really love her in is goofy comedy--she's got a genuine flair for it, which she showed in "What's Up Doc?"

• r4 James did not eat his dinner in the order I wanted him to (meat, first, then green veges, then orange veges, then cabs at the end.) So he was not allowed to attend.

• The clips of them in the car look ridiculous with the green screen effects. Put them in a real fucking car on the highway.

• I'm related to someone who was very involved with the making of this movie. I don't think anyone expected it to be acclaimed by anyone. Just a mindless film that dysfunctional, easily-entertained families would hopefully see for the holidays. Have you seen Rogen's other projects? Most of them are produced because he and his cronies had no better ideas at the moment. His slightly more mulled ones can come off that way as well.

• "Joke prize" is a stretch. Obviously it's less prestigious than the Oscars, but it's the 2nd most prestigious acting awards. For tv,it might even be as prestigious as the Emmys.

• No R25. It's a dry run for the Oscars. There's nothing prestigious about the GGs - unless you follow it up with an Oscar or an Emmy. The GGs are like an audition for a big award.
