Yes, Wally Cox was family, and he and Brando were lovers for a while. Strange to say, Brando considered Cox to be the great love of his life, despite the fact that he self-identified as primarily heterosexual.
Brando giving a blow job. Rumored to have been Wally's cox.
I believe the OP meant this as a parody of the "What About Charlie Cox?" thread...
Anyone remotely interested in Wally Cox would do well to buy the DVD sets of MISTER PEEPERS, the delightfully droll sit-com that brought Cox to fame. This long-lost show from the Golden Age of Live TV is well worth watching. Cox is very well supported by Tony Randall and Marion Lorne.
married three times, with children, according to Wikipedia.
Of course, that doesn't mean anything ...
Wally Cox was a self-destructive alcoholic. He was only 48 when he died of a heart attack in 1973. A rumor went around that he had committed suicide. Peter Marshall, his friend and co-worker on The Hollywood Squares, refuted the rumor by pointing out Cox's intense hatred for the phone company.
This was back when Ma Bell had a monopoly in the USA. Cox, who was clever enough to do his own electrical wiring, was partway through the process of re-wiring a neighbor's phone line so that it would give him free long distance. According to Marshall, Cox was so determined to screw over the phone company, there was no way he would have killed himself before completing that job.
Wally Cox was not gay and Brando was not either. Brando reportedly let men perform "lewd acts" on him for advancement.
Wally Cox said Brando was a pig and a slob and Brando said similar things about Cox, but apparently they were friends and shared a flat BEFORE either of them hit fame.
Wally and Marlon lived at 55 Morton Street in the West Village.
Wally's funeral was delayed so Marlon could arrive from Polynesia. The ashes of both were sprinkled in Death Valley.
