• I love her. She was like a poster child for delusion, but hey -- she was a gift that kept on giving. It's a tragedy that not more of her performances were recorded. I once put her performance of the Queen of the Nights revenge Aria on my partner's phone as the ring tone for whenever I called. You wouldn't believe how fast he was on the pickup!

• During her performances at Carnegie Hall people hid their laughter by using handkerchiefs in front of their mouths to make it look like they were coughing.
