I had an operation recently and was put under full anaesthesia. Not a big deal as I was released later the same day. But during the operation I woke up slightly and started hearing and talking to everyone. I was responding to requests by the doctor to assist with the operation. I remember that and them chuckling. The anesthesiologists said something soothing and then (I guess) cranked up the dial as I was out again. After the operation one of the nurses made a comment about things I said that I have no memory of. Do patients talk a lot when they're under anaesthesia? Any funny or interesting stories?
