• Neither of those couples look like twins. They style their hair alike and dress alike, but most gay couples do after they've been together awhile.

• What are you going on about, R7? I'm merely pointing out that the couple in the original post do not look like twins. One is fat and half-Asian, while the other is chubby and Caucasian. The fat/chubby couple at R2 do not resemble each other either.

• r9 I do wonder if some people (both gay and straight) lie about their ages in the NYTimes wedding announcements. A number of times I've read somebody's age and thought "there is no way!" I don't know it the NYT requires proof of age or not, but some people in those announcements clearly look older than their stated ages.

• These men are not fresh out of school, so I wonder ( with both gay and straight) why the announcement of the professions of their parents is included.

• New York Magazine did a story on how the New York Times investigates credentials of people in wedding announcements. More than one bride-to-be was informed by the paper that her brothed wasn't who he said he was.
