• Not the sharpest knife in the drawer by far, but muy guapo. The reporters here who know him say he can't string two words together unless someone writes them out for him... but they all agree he's a nice guy and a hottie. Happily married.

• WABC insider, is Shiba Russell as dumb as she seems on the air? She and Tom have to be the hottest but dimmest anchor team in town.

• WABC Insider, you're not going to tell me Liz Cho builds rockets, are you? (I have heard from neighbors of hers that she's quite nice.) I loved the promos where she and Bill Ritter are working the phones ("It's the mayor's office!") and choppering off to cover stories. I know major market anchors and here's what they DON'T do: chase stories and go out into the field. They arrive in time to tape the promos and read through the prompter copy and that's it. They're not journalists but newsreaders, as they correctly label them in the UK.

• Cute but generic. If there was ever a question whether or not a Latino can be bland I think we've found the answer.

• He's no Gio Benitez...

• Liz Cho is no rocket scientist, R5, and of course those promos are ridiculous (I like the one where she and Ritter argue over what pizza to order), but she's not just a pretty face. She's particularly sharp when it comes to discussions about health and motherhood/child-raising (a subject very close to her since she went thru quite an ordeal trying to conceive and is now a single mother). From what I hear, Tom Llamas can only speak intelligently about the Miami Heat basketball team.

• Llamas is so white! He's Cuban right? He has that annoyingly white Cubaness about him.He looks like an entitled brat. Liz Cho is hot and smart. what a beautiful woman with brains to boot. Shiba is gorgeous BUT just a newsreader. sue Simmons might be a "he" but she was much better at the news game than Shiba is. Then again, they want a pretty young face not an older though well preserved lesbian reading their news.

• How is the ratings that Shiba has taken over? Is she doing better than Sue? I hate Shiba so when she took over the 11 PM news, I switched to CBS. Shiba is so smug and condescending.

• GOD, I hate this guy. How he got an anchor job in NYC is a laugh, but since WNBC has kept that idiot, Michael Gargiulio in the morning, anything is possible. Tom Llamas over acts every line he reads and waves his hands around for emphasis. Total jerk.

• Mmm... papi was reading the news and cutely bantering on Today this morning, looking hot as ever. Somebody's got his eye on him for a national slot.

• Arthur Chi'en is gay. Remember, he was the one who was on a float at the Haloween parade a few years ago - got pulled off the float by a drunk ex and hit his face on the pavement. Then underwent total facial reconstruction and plastic surgery which took months. What straight man would put up with any of that?

• Chi'en has great teeth - a result of the facial reconstruction. Llamas has teeth that are too big for his mouth. Or more likely, they're bad veneers, done on the cheap in Miami.

• If Tom does the 11 o'clock news, I may have to start watching "The Daily Show" at another time.

• So glad that Shiba woman is not on tonight at 11. Even though I love Tom Llamas, I hate that Shiba woman so I have switched from the NBC4 at 5 newscast to the CBS at 5 newscast.

• Tom is hot but he needs a stylist - all his clothes look like they are 2 sizes too big for him - oversize shirt collars and ill-fitting jackets. And the color combinations are awful - tonight's was particularly clashing with his dark tan.

Tom should consult Raphael Miranda or even that new weather guy about dressing well. The weather guys at NBC4 are the best dressed. Their suits fit perfectly and their hair and skin look perfect.
