I just watched that and all I can think of is some Nat Geo special I saw years ago about some insect, I forget which one, that would stick it's ass up in the air and shake it, emitting pheromones to attract a mate.
Many of our dances are like mating rituals of animals, peacocks, etc., I realize that and it's clear that twerking is about as far down the evolutionary scale as we can get.
