Office mates who won't use headphones ...

Obviously this happens only in relaxed word environments. But still, why is this okay? Not everyone want to hear the latest hilarity from youtube, or the hobbit trailer, etc. It's always the most entitled douche bag who does this too. They think everyone wants to hear what they're hearing. This is the same one who has an obnoxious ring tone on their phone so everyone knows how many calls they're getting. This is the same one who has a cute sound effect on their inbox so everyone can hear a cat meow when they get an email. Why do some people need so much attention?
