So The Dickhead Republicans Are Even More Hellbent On Calling Susan Rice A Liar?

She admitted that the info she gave was wrong - a bad soundbite. Now the Repugs are all over the media trashing her. I don't see how Obama is going to nominated her for SOS now. The public has no idea what the fuck this is all about, which is why Repugs are playing it up to score political points.

• Jon Huntsman even said that it would have been impossible for the US to have the information instantly and that the Repugs are barking up the wrong tree.

• I think the USA would be better served with Kerry as Sec. of State, but that puts his senatorial seat up for easy grabs by the Republicans. I don't care especially like Ms. Rice, from what I have observed. But to suggest she is either unqualified or a liar is demagoguery at its meanest. It is evident that the "get him at any cost" approach to governance the Republicans used during Mr. Obama's first administration has not changed. The president can choose who he wishes to serve in his cabinet, and he could do worse than Ms. Rice. The attacks are not only grounded in racism, they are cynically so. The Republicans continue to distort reality to play to the lowest end of their constituency.
