The Liberals came a strong 2nd in Calgary tonight and almost pulled an upset over the Conservatives. Meanwhile, in the riding of Victoria in British Columbia, the Green Party is narrowly leading ahead of the NDP.

• If the Green Party wins in Victoria, it will be only the 2nd time the Green Party has won a seat in North America. (The first was last year when Green Party leader Elizabeth May won in Saanich - Gulf Islands).
