Matt Lauer Defended By NBC Execs: 'Today' Host 'Had Nothing To Do With Ann Curry's Reassignment'
Regardless of what NBC says, people felt the disrespect that Ann Curry was shown while she was there and when she departed.
Defending Matt is the last thing this network needs to be doing. Show Matt the door; he's greatly to blame that the show sucks.

- Backpedaling is difficult when your vehicle (the show) is rocketing downhill without brakes on a greasy slope.
- I would have fired Ann Curry immediately after her interview with Brad Pitt.
Watch this. It is as if her goal is to make Pitt as uncomfortable as possible. Note her moves at about 5:05.
What a loon.
And this is only one of a slew of dreadful interviews she did during her time there. Meridith Viera who was co-hosting that day, must have been cringing watching this:

- NBC is not going to admit that they made a mistake in giving Lauer a ridiculous amount of money.
- Do they not understand that this announcement is not helping TODAY AT ALL? They fired a WOMAN and kept Matt only to pay him way more. Their demo is largely women.
