I haven't found any great deals on the net today.

I checked a few sights, but all the prices seemed pretty steep to me.

• IL looked around for a new computer. Found no good deals. 20% is not going to compel me to buy one. On the Today Show they featured an incredible deal on a laptop. I did not catch the supplier so went on line and watched the segment again. They edited out that section. I live in the West, would have been seen several hours earlier on the east coast. I assume they sold out.

• Hype...... Wait for the new year. That is when retailers have to sell cheap or go bankrupt. Often they finance Xmas merchandise and in January they have to pay for what they have not sold. Also be aware that stores bring in merchandise specifically packaged for after Christmas sales. It is not old merchandise. By the time January comes around, that is when you are actually dealing with true discounts on stuff that didn't sell. Hold out for the real thing in the new year.

• I think Ann Taylor jacked up their prices so that 50% off seems like a deal.
