ip address and iphones?

When I click on a site from my iphone, what ip address shows up? Does it change every time I change location? For instance, if I clicked on a website from Alaska, then flew to Alabama, and clicked on the same website, would the ip address change? How does that work?

• Good question. I assume the IP will be related to the carrier, or tower, not the phone itself. But that's just a guess.

• Yes it changes. I live in LA. But I'm in Vegas right now. I noticed it changed.

• I checked my website after clicking on it from my iphone about 2 miles from where I live and it didn't even show up.

• Heaven forbid you should google, "what's my ip address" and find out
