• The series is more fascinating than the movie in the fact that the series feels more real. Of course, this could be staged too, but it seems more real. I particularly loved the episode where the blonde southern belle thought she was chatting online to this studly male model for years only to find out that she was really talking to a chubby, disheveled bull-dyke the entire time. This sort of thing happens more than you know. I know a couple of people who've been duped like this IRL.

• I was watching the movie Catfish again, and didn't understand why Nev put up with the whole facade, and didn't demand right away why the woman lied. You feel sorry for her, but still..

• They had a black, overweight, queeny gay guy on last night. He used a blond female as his profile pic, and got 100's of horny guys to have online sex and send cock pics to him. When confronted by the Catfish team and Tyler (the catfishee), he made excuses about how he has such a hard time being gay in a small town, etc. He was so not sorry -- he was full of bullshit when caught. It was also revealed that: 1) he used multiple fake profiles to play his game and 2) he got kicked out of college cause he pulled this routine on his RA and got caught. Tyler was cute but dumb. I think he also admitted that he liked to lure straight men. The most remarkable fact is he fooled these guys cause he never Skype'd or even called them; all communication was via email or text so they never heard Aaron's voice. All of these guys went into this "relationship" with a person whose excuse for never speaking to them was "I don't have a cellphone". In 2012! Tyler went along with that for almost 2 years. How crazy is that? It's sad that Aaron didn't spend some of his internet time looking for help with his identity problem.
