- The series is more fascinating than the movie in the fact that the series feels more real. Of course, this could be staged too, but it seems more real.

- I watched an episode without knowing anything about Nev and Max and my dvr started after what I now know is the opening explaining Nev's story. After watching the show, it was very obvious to me the story of two partnered gay men who go around the country solving crimes of identity theft. Imagine my surprise, upon learning more about them and seeing more episodes, to find that not everyone sees it that way.
Note to the production company: we don't need a scene where Max or Nev don't want to get out of bed in the morning in every single episode. Same with when they approach the catfish house and don't know which door to go to, only to have someone exit from a side door. If that's your idea of building suspense, it is stupid.
