Trashy Hollywood Novels ....

I miss them. But with everything 'out there' now with the tabloid press, reality TV, etc .... I guess there's not a need for a juicy roman a clef anymore. Is it too hard for celebs to keep secrets nowadays ? Has Jackie Collins had to get a part time retail job ?

• Couple of reasons: 1) celebrity gossip is so prevalent today that there's no need for these "pull behind the curtains" books. Nothing will shock anyone anymore. 2) the public has actually become too stupid for the kind of books Collins or Jacqueline Susan wrote. You really need to read "50 Shades" to understand how horrible the situation is.
