Are you sure that's instagram? Looks like it actually was taken in 1972. Those velour seat covers look like they'd smell of old gravy and the plates are too fugly for words. How could you find your food on that mish-mash of pattern/color/ugly?
Why am I not surprised...Everything they do and touch is the tackiest thing imaginable. When are these low life cunts going to go away?
I hate that kind of pattern on plates, but it's a well done version of the style. Those chairs, however, are impossible.
thank you #2 !
I'm surprised there's no cock served on them.
It actually looks like a classic pattern by Spode, which would be surprising as I would expect them to have china by Versace. But those chairs...yeeesh!
That table's the size of a postage stamp. Their asses won't fit around it. The chairs, ack. And the walls? I can't quite make them out, but is it some kind of paneling with gold stripe accents?
Meh. It ain't Gucci.
The point of Thanksgiving is the family coming together to make a bountiful meal.
I highly doubt Kris Jenner and her daughters were slaving away in the kitchen from Thanksgiving eve till yesterday while Bruce and Rob watch the game in the living room.
This picture looks like they went to a restaurant and had a five star chef prepare a "light and tasteful" meal for them. Not the usual Thanksgiving fare.
It just all looks so sterile and removed from real family life.
And where to the blacks sit?
You would think that a vulgarly rich family could afford a tale of an appropriate size that doesn't shove everyone together.
This is how it's done:
When I think how much time they put into shopping for those items and designing and setting that table, and I see you people saying something nasty, I want to cry.
Who's stuffing Kim this year?
Which daughter did Mama K whore out for this pattern?
Bruce, of course, did not attend. He was on his way to the annual MICHFEST dinner.
R16 - they are apparently also divocing that's why he didn't attend.
Obviously they have been eating from high-lead-content plates all their lives. And America just LOVES it.
Gypsies with money.
The internet should be destroyed just for unleashing these horrid people on humanity.
Not my taste, but hardly tacky.
Actually, as a Table Top Queen, I am surprised that these silly and vulgarly rich didn't hit the "more money than taste" trifecta:
China: Westchester by Lenox
Silver: Grande Baroque by Wallace
[but they nailed the crystal]
Crystal: Massena by Baccarat.
I'm confused TTQ: Are the china and silver in the "more money than taste" trifecta, or is the crystal? Because that's my grandmother's silver you're talking about.
The bread-and-butter plates may be Lenox, but the turkey plates are Royal Stafford.
And agreed, they nailed the crystal. That's been my dream pattern since it was first issued around 1980. But at $100 a stem (and that was in 1980!!) it's out of my league.
r22, I call it a trifecta, because I cannot tell you the number of times I've been invited to dinner by rather upscale people who do not have a clue about entertaining and they have at least TWO of the three patterns listed.
They are the popular patterns that sales people push. People with no personal sense of style usually buy in to the recommendations.
Rest assured that ONE of the three is perfectly OK. r22, What was your grandmother's crystal and china?
[Personally, I opted for St. Louis Apollo Gold, Minton Riverton, and R&B Francis First.]
I can just smell the post dinner farts from here.
Can someone do the financial math on the setting?
OMG THOSE ARE WESTCHESTER BREAD PLATES!!!!!!!!!!!
HATE the plates and those chairs!!! WTF. Overall the table and all the setup are just too busy. Obviously no gays were involved in the planning of this.
