I always knew even w/out the before and after photos. Nose jobs always have such an unnatural, carved appearance. God forbid a woman be born w/ a nose that isn't the size of a thimble.

A lot of women and (some men) in the biz get them...It's rare to see a woman so beautiful that her face was untouched. Even after the surgery, some female stars are just average. Women like Tyra, Halle etc are beautiful regardless though. Vanessa Williams is an example of an 100% natural beauty.

Her original nose was pretty big by modelling standards (ie, normal for everyday civilians). I'll never forget how relieved I felt to find out surgery had helped create her beauty.

Vanessa Williams had a nosejob early on after she won Miss America. She is not 100% natural. She is beautiful though.
R10 - I had a friend back in the late '80s and early '90s who was obsessed with Christy Turlington. He collected all of her covers and treated them like rare art objects. His handling of the magazines was comical (assortment of folders, plastic sleeves, large roomy envelopes). I recall he showed me early modeling shots and the nose seemed the same as later years. I'm sure my memory isn't very good, but I'm starting to think he wasn't obsessed enough if he didn't know about a nose job! We were grad students in fly-over country then, so that probably had something to do with it.

Both Tyra and Naomi have had nose jobs. A lot of models do. Tyra's original nose was kind of oddly shaped but Naomi's was absolutely perfect. She should never have changed it.

I used to watch her talk show from time to time. For some reason her self-absorption never bothered me. It was a refreshing change from those who you know feel the same way but cover it better. I never saw her be deliberately mean to anyone, so I suppose that helped. If I were to begin disliking everyone who has had a nose job, that cuts out some of my favorite people. I thought most kids got new noses for graduating from high school. My friend says where he came from they get cars so I guess it's geographical.
