most celebrities have them, r4. Christy Turlington, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford all had them. Almost all actors have had one.
Wait, this is a thing? Why didn't anyone ever tell me?
I always knew even w/out the before and after photos. Nose jobs always have such an unnatural, carved appearance. God forbid a woman be born w/ a nose that isn't the size of a thimble.
Christy Turlington? I very much doubt that.
A lot of women and (some men) in the biz get them...It's rare to see a woman so beautiful that her face was untouched. Even after the surgery, some female stars are just average. Women like Tyra, Halle etc are beautiful regardless though. Vanessa Williams is an example of an 100% natural beauty.
with Tyra: are they fake boobs as well? seriously, has Tyra ever addressed the pressure all celebs face to get nosejobs? she should do a show about it
R8 - I saw a picture of her first modelling shot years ago (in a magazine) and tried to find it by googling but...anyway, there was a lot of gossip in the early nineties abut how it was a pretty bad nosejob and that she was lucky to still be beautiful. Her original nose was pretty big by modelling standards (ie, normal for everyday civilians). I'll never forget how relieved I felt to find out surgery had helped create her beauty.
Now that I see the crackers in this thread, I hate them even more.
Damn! her eyelids and facial structure look different, too.
Wow. That's a very open and shut case. Too bad - she looked much prettier before the surgery.
Tyra is fake period.
No she doesn't have breast implants
but has fat transferred.
Shes so stupid for making a big deal on
her show about it.
Like people really don't remember her flat chested ass in the George Michael too funky video.

Vanessa Williams had a nosejob early on after she won Miss America. She is not 100% natural. She is beautiful though.
R10 - I had a friend back in the late '80s and early '90s who was obsessed with Christy Turlington. He collected all of her covers and treated them like rare art objects. His handling of the magazines was comical (assortment of folders, plastic sleeves, large roomy envelopes). I recall he showed me early modeling shots and the nose seemed the same as later years. I'm sure my memory isn't very good, but I'm starting to think he wasn't obsessed enough if he didn't know about a nose job! We were grad students in fly-over country then, so that probably had something to do with it.
Everything about Tyra is 100% baloney. She pretends she's on the same level as Naomi Campbell (who has REAL connections within the industry, still models at her advanced age and is friends with all the models). Tyra is a fake model with a fake body and face, fake hair, fake personality and fake show that never produced a truly successful model.
OP, YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE I'VE BEEN, WHAT I HAD TO DO TO GET TO WHERE I AM, HOW HARD I'VE WORKED, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT TOOK, WHO I HAD TO PUT UP WITH, WHAT PAIN I WENT THROUGH...
actually, R17, see the second and then last photos at the link to see how plastic Naomi is:
Tyra went through a lot of pain, leave her alone!!
Tyra is a cheapo! I can't stand Naomi, she's been been millions of men, bet she has herpes! Tyra may have herpes too, she was with Derek Jeter, who is rumored to have herpes too.
How appropriate that Naomi's holding a telephone, her weapon of choice.
CT never had a nose job. Sorry.
Christie Turlington was known to have had a horrific nosejob - and surgeons were dismayed when women would bring in photos of her butchered job as the template for what they wanted done. I was disappointed when I read that.
Tyra went to Harvard "y'all" and she will NOT let you forget it!
I can guarantee you that woman is NOTHING in real life like she is in front of the camera. You can tell the minute she walks off stage she does a total about-face. She tries WAY too hard to come off as 'normal' and 'likable' and fails miserably every time.
[quote]Tyra is a cheapo!
Funny--she was just on Wendy Williams the other day (for what? who knows) and she brought up the fact that she tipped someone $100. She was nearly breaking her arm from patting herself on the back so hard.
If she's as beautiful, intelligent and amazing as she thinks she is, then why can't she keep a man around? I personally think she's closeted, but maybe I'm alone in that.
Old photo of Christy Turlington before her nose job.
R27 she wasn't on randomly....it was for the finale of America's Next Top Model. Anyway most women in hollywood get a nose job.
I personally think she's closeted, but maybe I'm alone in that.
No r28 I suspected she was a big ole closeted Dyke decades ago.
When she was dating John Singleton for movie roles.
Every man she has ever dated just isn't believable.
Really who has she ever dated that you thought damn I know she fucks the shit out of him.
She is so narcissistic no one could ever love her more than she does herself.
I believe she is a Lesbian but asexual.
She is probably the most self-absorbed celebrity I've ever seen. I also think she's quite beautiful.
I used to watch her talk show from time to time. For some reason her self-absorption never bothered me. It was a refreshing change from those who you know feel the same way but cover it better. I never saw her be deliberately mean to anyone, so I suppose that helped.
If I were to begin disliking everyone who has had a nose job, that cuts out some of my favorite people. I thought most kids got new noses for graduating from high school. My friend says where he came from they get cars so I guess it's geographical.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
