Black Friday - Can You Get The Same Amount Of Discounted Crap Online As You Can In The Stores
or are the discounts simply not the same, not as fruitful?
.
Some are "doorbuster" or "early bird" deals, which means you might have to stand outside early in the morning, and run in and grab it before someone else does. It definitely means you have to plan to show up to get it early, because once they're sold out, you can't get the deal anymore. Often the best deals, greatest discounts, are the doorbuster deals.
As far as the rest of them, I think you can usually at the same deal online, but that might probably isn't the case with all stores. However, next Monday is Cyber Monday, which is the online version of Black Friday. And it lasts for a week.
Nooks are going to be on sale for $56 tomorrow online.
Online you say r3? Somewhere across the great expanses of the world wide web? Well that narrows it down.
In other words, Doorbusters are items that had their prices raised during the summer so the discount now - instead of really being 50-75%- is actually 10-20% but don't let that stop you from freezing yuor ass off on line.
Nobody's going to freeze their asses off just because a deal is said to be a "doorbuster." With electronics you compare specs and look for the best price. That is often the doorbuster deals, it is generally older stuff that they just want to get rid of, that's why when they sell out the deal is over. They aren't going to restock it. But that doesn't mean the deals aren't good.
Um, R4? You know that NOOK is the Barnes & Noble version of Kindle, right? SO where do YOU think it will be available online for that price?
I went to Target years ago line wrapped around the store.
Get inside and nothing was on sale.
It was like any other day except with lots of people & half the merchandise on the floor.
I will never do the Black Friday thing standing in line for 2 hours for shit regular price ever again.
Walmart is the worst you'd have to see the lines to believe them.
You would think people were trying to get into heaven.
Now I just shop online its safer.
For some it's a traditional sport to bring home as many deal trophies as possible and get off on looking at the losers who have to leave the shop empty handed.
For some it's the closest they get to a Lord Of The Ring (or South vs. North Civil War) battle scene recreation.
They have a laptop at WalMart for a really good price but I see it is a 10 pm sale, so I would think the people who get there earlier would put it in their carts. Also I wonder how fast they will sell out and I am too lazy to get out and shop. But it is a good deal.
For my family and friends I am shopping online and having everything delivered to them, gift-wrapped. For my honey, I did all my in-person shopping (at local merchants) in October.
I wish it was possible to just hide out at home till after New Year's.

Nowhere online, according to Barnes & Noble's site, the $59 Nook deal is in-store only, while supplies last.
