National Dog Show Official Thread ... it's on now

I like it more than the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

• I can't watch this again. Each time I watch the National Dog Show, the terriers win.

• I always feel sorry for the dogs that don't get picked. Not the handlers, just the dogs. Crazy, huh?

• My miniature dachshund and I love watching the dog shows and at the end of each one I declare him "Best in Show" and we dance around the apartment. He's a beautiful dog and a great pal.

  Naturally the wire-haired dachshund was robbed!!!

• OP I would have participated if I had been here. It's a good thread idea. The Golden was beautiful. I was rooting for the little Tibetan pooch for BIS.

• I missed the first hour of this, I didn't know it was on. They seem to change the classifications sometimes. I think at the Westminster Show (or whatever it's called) they have shepherds in the working group, rather than the herding group but I may be misremembering that. Anyway, lots of great dogs.

• NBC is repeating the Purina Dog Show at 8 p.m. tonight.
