"Mental" with Toni Collette.

From the director of Muriel's Wedding. Hadn't heard of this until I was looking at cinema listings today (in the UK). Thoughts on the trailer? Looks to be very over the top in comparison to Muriel's Wedding, but think I might check it out.

• Toni Collette is a MAGNIFICENT actress. She is so damn good!

• I said she is great!

• I wish United States of Tara had a different premise. The actors were awesome. But for some reason the series just did not gel....

• I seem to recall that the reviews of 'Mental' haven't been very good.

• I may watch it just because it's the first time since "Muriel's Wedding" that these two have worked together. She was unforgettable in that film--one of the best movie debuts of an actress ever, IMO. If you're a fan, check out "Clockwatchers," with Toni, Parker Posey and Lisa Kudrow. Sublime.

• Toni is....hmmm....easy on the eye because she can warm you with her acting.

• She gave me the stink eye at Cheesecake Factory a few years ago. She's really not that attractive in person.

• USofTara really sucked, but I loved Muriel's Wedding

• She was also unique in 'Japanese Story', 'In Her Shoes', 'The Night Listener', 'The Hours', 'About A Boy','Dinner With Friends','Little Miss Sunshine', 'Evening','The Sixth Sense' and i also find her so cute in the mediocre movie 'Connie and Carla'.

• I also love Rachel Griffiths from Muriel's Wedding, and Six Feet Under.

• Looks gawd awful and Collette is doing her usual really annoying over-the-top shtick.
