Rupaul and Backup dancers June 1986.

This great video shows Rupaul and 2 backup dancers walking through the Meat Packing District of NYC in June 1986. It's fun to see Rupaul just starting out, carefree, but filled with ambition to make it happen. Look at how seedy the area was back then. Totally upscale now. The house this guy Nelson Sullivan lived in is still there. It's a restaurant now. Does anyone know what happened to the tall handsome backup dancer named Fred who Rupaul nicknamed 'Trade'? What was his full name? I remember meeting him many years ago, around the time this video was made. I would see him out at clubs for years, but watching this made me wonder what happened to him.
