• Link not coming up but isn't Examiner British? Roll your eyes at the English. Their journalists will stoop to the lowest of lows. No dignity. They attract those catty, old low-rent hausfraus who resent their lot in life. Brit tabs ARE entertaining to see how far the writers will take it. It's like a modern version of poor women gossiping while hanging the laundry before electricity was commonplace.

• Ha! It feels like the hype has already died over this book. Like porn, the appeal is fleeting. Someone like Verhoeven, De Palma, or Adrian Lyne should direct this, given that the book itself sounds like a throwback to all the NC-17 stuff from the late 80's/early 90's. This might actually give the film a chance at being interesting.
