Life of Pi

Has anyone read the book? THe movie looks visually interesting, but I would go and see it only if the tiger ends up eating the kid.

• I doubt that happens, OP, but I don't know why it wouldn't.

• The book is really well written and thought provoking. I read a lot of different things and this one sticks out in true originality-I think I read it non stop over a few days it was that good. I like Ang Lee movies and I think that this will be sensational.

• I guess Life of ~3.14 didn't sell well with test audiences.

• R 5--Lincoln gets shot in Lincoln and Fantine dies an untimely death in Les Miz.

• And "Rosebud" was a sled. Anyway, the trailer looked gorgeous. Really stunning cinematography. Not sure the movie will make a righteous dime, but it looks great.
