According to AICN, the film is structured as follows:
The picture will be comprised of three scenes...
** ...realtime scenes...
** Each scene will be set before a product launch...
** Said launches include the original Macintoish computer in 1984, the NeXT cube (1990), and the first iPod (2001)...
** He wants to end the movie with a text or voiceover of Jobs' iconic "Here's to the crazy ones..."
I'm strangely intrigued about this now. I was dreading something resembling a superhero origin story for fanboys. Jobs getting his first turtleneck, an apple hitting him on the head, whatever.
This could be good. Sounds like something Robert Altman might have done.
The problem is that people's lives are rarely so neat.
Hope its a made for tv movie, it won't go in theaters.
Sounds somewhat interesting.
If facebook worked in theaters, this could as well.
Who will play Jobs?
As much as I'm intrigued by it, I can see it ending up on HBO. Isn't this the Ashton Kutcher as Jobs one? That's enough to give me pause.
Nope, that's not the one with Kutcher (who really does look like Jobs, for what it's worth).
Sorkin = Delusional
Wish he'd take his sticky hands off
I heard it ends with a shot of an Apple sweatshop worker throwing herself off of their factory roof, and Jobs' voice saying "Here's to the crazy ones..."
