Meghan McCain: "Times are changing. The face of America is changing and we as Republicans stand at a crossroads. Are we going to accept the changing face of America and change with it? Or are we going to continue to become more isolated and irrelevant? It's possible to maintain the core values of this party and evolve when it comes to social issues. Quite frankly, I don't see any other path to success."
"I've spent most of my adult life fighting for change from inside the Republican Party... And if we don't move forward, adapt, and become relevant again, the Republican Party isn't going to survive. It will just continue to alienate more moderate voters like myself. If I don't see some changes in the next four years, I'm going to consider registering as an Independent in 2016."
Here's a cancelled Romney/Ryan 2012 credit card. Call someone who cares.
Meghan better be careful.
Katherine Schwarzenegger is slowly but surely going to be one Democrat who will pawn Meghan whether she goes Independent or not. She's building up her career resume nicely and is a hell of a lot more intelligent and better looking than Meghan.
Remember I said it.
They can change their words but deep down they will always believe in inequality.
What about Patrick Schwarzenegger/Shriver, R3?
Meghan...don't let the door hit you on the way out.
The social conservative Repugs
Meghan, they don't care.
Put a pillow over your father's face for about 15 minutes. Then, we'll talk.

And just how many years is that, exactly?
[quote]If I don't see some changes in the next four years, I'm going to consider registering as an Independent in 2016."
Wow, she certainly has the courage of her sort of convictions.
Fuck off. It used to work when I said I would consider going to my room.
That is too cute...isn't she just adorable?!!!

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
Why is she even a republican other than her dad is John McCain she lines up with ever Dem value and belief.
Well, this ought to change everything!

I've found this to be true of every Republican I know IRL. They seem to be just ignorant, scared, misinformed people who really know nothing about politics at all; Fox News guides their every move. Even that foolish blonde on The View prides herself on sticking up for gays, women and people of color whenever they discuss bigotry. I was surprised to see her nearly tear up when discussing Trayvon Martin. Do you think she realizes she's a token? I suppose if she changed parties now her job might be in jeopardy.
If it has to drastically change to stay relevant, why is it worth preserving?
She was always a sham Republican. A few years ago she was dating this guy who was a friend of a friend who is very liberal, here, in Toronto. Everybody I know who spent more time talking to her had her pegged as a progressive.
I agree with R16. A lot of people, especially in more rural areas, believe they're Republicans even when their beliefs line up with Democrats much more closely if not exactly. It mostly happens because Republicans have managed to brand themselves as the "moral" party and a lot of rural Americans are legitimately afraid of being an outcast if they're openly Democrats.
This is coming from someone who's extended family will sit around the dinner table and talk about how much they love unions and hate Wall Street, love the gays and believe in the separation of church and state, but will call themselves Republicans if you ask them specifically.
Ohhh, I'm sooo scared.
I`ve met a few like that, R16 and R19, and the ones I know are stuck on the single issue of abortion, i.e. they call themselves pro-life. Could it be the same in the cases you knowÉ
poor Meghan...did her parents ignore her? Why so desperate for attention?
She wants lower taxes--who wouldn't, when you stand to inherit $100,000,000.
Inherited money isn't taxable.
Well, she has a point.
By the way, I've always thought that first ladies Laura, Barbara, & Nancy as well as the Bush girls are all closet Democrats.
Meghan, don't let the door hit your FAT WHITE ASS on the way out.
What an annoying little turd and she got that Valley Girl laugh, she's damn ridiculous.

yes it is r24...it is called an estate tax only the first million is non-taxable
