On Saturday I ate Chinese food -- thought the clams in black beans tasted kind of old, but not blatantly awful. Since then, I have been nauseated, diarrhea, no appetite.
I would think food poisoning would come on intensely and then leave.
This is more of just a low-grade malaise, which came on after eating my food. I'd been sticking to simple foods (toast, soup) until yesterday, when I got a bit wild and had sushi. Since then, it's back to the nausea/toilet visits. :0
Could anyone recommend a good home remedy? I HATE my pcp and would rather not trek there unless heaving hot coffee grounds.
Did your fish have an offensive odor?
I hope you didn't eat at an Asian buffet?!
OP, you need to watch a couple episodes of "Monsters Inside Me," and then you'll know just what to do.

Yes, try some common sense.
You have the stomach flu. It's going around right now, because I know at least 5 people who are going through the same thing.
Drink lots of liquid, eat crackers, bananas and soup for a week, and let it pass.
Tis the season for coughs, colds, stomach flu, and everything else. We just have to ride it out.
Until then, wash your hands often, and don't give it to your co-workers.
bump for nausea!
There is no such thing as a "stomach flu."
See a fucking doctor.
Activated charcoal capsules. They absorb everything. Don't take them with any meds because those will get absorbed too.
