Female President In 2016? A Look At The Potential Candidates
I want Hillary, but if she decides not to run, then my next choice is Kamala Harris, California's attorney general. Love her.

- Please not a Repug woman.
- I'm sorry, under what possible circumstances could Jennifer Granholm, a naturalized citizen, run for President?
The Voice of the Night
- a FIne looking group of ladies, there!

- Kristen Gilabrand (sp)....The only way this country will get on the right track is if there's a female prez and a gay man VP.
- A female president immediately following a two-term black president? Sorry OP, but white guys' heads would collectively explode.
- The stupid slideshow isn't working for me.
If the Republicans ever decide to go modern, I could see them selecting a women to defeat the Democrats.
- It's Hillary's if she wants it, no question. Love her.
Kamala Harris has a future in the Democratic Party. As a state Attorney General, even in a huge state like CA, she is not going to be ready to run for anything like the presidency in 2016.
Gillibrand in NY has a better shot and certainly has the ambition. She'll need Hillary's permission and a much higher national profile.
- The Republicans should run that Nikki cunt out of South Carolina. We'll easily crush her.

- Despite saying that she doesn't want to run, Kirsten Gillibrand gave up her seat on the Banking Committee with the express desire that the spot be given to Elizabeth Warren.
She's either setting herself up for a Presidential run or a play for Senate leadership.
Either of which is fine with me.
The Voice of the Night
- Hillary definitely has it if she wants it. I like her but I do wish we could have a first woman President who isn't the wife of an ex-prez.
- Kamala Harris is not ready for national elected office. Gillibrand has collected alot of favors from other elected women officials through her fundraising efforts. If Hilary is OK with it, she would be a good candidate.
- Kristi Noem, SD's congressional rep, is on the Huff Po list. She's a sister of Rob Arnold, husband of Six In The City's Michelle.
- What about Maryland Congressman Chris Van Hollen in drag?
- Any potential 2016 Dem Pres Candidate should be thinking about a book tour now. That would at least get them closer to national recognition, and thus start the vetting process. Rumors are that the Repubs intend to "go all out" in 2016; fundraising has already started.
