TV shows are fucking with me

Has anyone else noticed this season that TV shows are going to commercial only to come right back on?? It's really tripping me up because I start to fast forward on my DVR and then BAM! There wasn't even a frickin' commercial...or sometimes there's one little commercial and then the show is back on. Are networks doing this on purpose to fuck with us DVR people? Cause it's working.

• Yes I notice this too, OP But once ya catch on, it's easy to maneuver around.

• It's the same reason hosts on MSNBC do a 30-second segment surrounded by 3-4 minutes of ads on either side.

• Bravo has been doing that too, R3. They'll insert a little sliver of show into the commercials in order to get you to stop fast forwarding. It pisses me off.

• Judge Judy does that sometimes. It messes with my bathroom breaks.
