No, it's on haitus. I believe it will be a midseason replacement...
Sunny, does this mean you've woken?

That's when I fell in love with Conchata Farrell. I'm glad she's working still, even though the show she's on is awful.

We are continuing our battle to get this obscene television program off the air! We are meeting at the church on Saturday to address post cards to one thousand mothers around the country. Joan is allowing us to use the church mimeograph machine to print the cards. I hope you will join us in not using Campbell's Soup in your Saturday evening casseroles.

No, Rose, it's on after Bette.
Wasn't it a Lanford Wilson play? I don't think it gets revived very often. Probably somewhat dated.
R6 "Baltimore" came and went in 1975. "Bette" didn't show up until a quarter century later (2000.)
I was just a young boy but I can remember seeing this TV sitcom on ABC. I'm sure most of the jokes sailed over my head, but what I really remember was the sight of the older gay couple. They usually came into the scene, spouted off a few one-liners, and disappeared.
It was a Norman Lear show, but it had more of a Danny Arnold/Barney Miller feel to it.

R8, that's a very canny observation. You're right. It did.
