• If I am being honest, I find him breathy an he has minimal vibrato. He is lucky he has a famous mom who CAN sing and has connections.

• Okay, Jason seems like a nice enough guy, talented, no scandals, etc. And his own mother has only recently discovered that he can sing. He's 45. What the hell has he been doing with his life for the past 20-25 other than the occasional dabbling in movie 10 years ago, a couple of short films and humming tunes in his bedroom? Get a job. Put out an album. You have talent, kid.

• They share a similar singing style. Nice sound, but even the 'soulful' moments are carefully thought out. He needs to listen to more of Rupert Wainwright and less of Josh Groban.

• I'd guess that if Barbra Streisand was your mother, you might be a little intimidated by the idea of following in her footsteps.

• He does not have to listen to Rufus Wainwright. No one has to. He already sounds better than him. Is he really 45? He looks young for 45.

• He's got a nice voice, but he's too breathy, and the song is schlock.

• He's very charming and funny in that scene with his mom at the Hollywood Bowl--he comes across as slightly self-deprecating and very sweet.

• Average voice and he's not attractive at all.

• He's astoundingly talented. I love love love his singing. The songs, the arrangements, his voice, his phrasing and his big gorgeous fucking nose. I want him to sing to me then snog the shit out of him.
