Why should she be different in HITCHCOCK than she is in all her other movies?
She was good in Black Dahlia
Drown her in a vat of vanilla pudding and no one will ever find the body.
She's not that vanilla, R6
Everything about her is vanilla.
They show her imitating Leigh's scream in the shower...and she just doesn't quite capture a single thing about the moment.
I didn't recognize her in the trailer. Could she actually be acting in this one?

no it is just a wig (and she strangely isn't in the trailer that much and some trailers don't even mention she is in the movie...is she now considered box office poison?)
Yes R11, she is considered box office poison after how badly The Avengers did. Idiot.
Yes. People flocked to the Avengers because of Scarjo r11.
I kind of liked her in Hitchcock. She nailed Leigh's tendancy to act with her chin.
but Jessica Biel.....lord that girl has a huge mouth....
Let's see: blonde hair, blue eyes, pasty skin, fat ass and tits. Nope, nothing vanilla about that!
captain sarcasm
I never liked her in anything but Avengers and Iron Man 2.
I actually really liked her in those. Maybe she should do more action roles.
I would also go see a Black Widow movie if they made one. But I want Joss to direct.

The difficulty with having contemporary actresses like Lindsay Lohan and Scarlett Johansen playing the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Janet Leigh (besides the comparative lack of star power in the younger generation) is that the fashion nowadays is for actresses to have a childlike, formless sort of look and little-girl voices, whereas Taylor and Leigh were typical of their generation in looking like grown women, complete with mature-sounding voices and fabulous bone structures. It just doesn't work.
She's attached to a pair of tits that have a great career.
Scarlett is really good in family dramas, such as In Good Company and A Love Song for Bobby Long. She was even good in We Bought a Zoo (the movie had a lot of flaws, but Scarlett wasn't one of them). Scarlett does not have a little girl voice.
Seriously, r17? Taylor's voice sounded anything but mature to me. Very high-pitched, almost squeaky.
What are you people, daft? She was amazing in that film. Some people!
Scarjo
Scarlett's voice is on the deep and hoarse side, while Liz Taylor had a high, little-girl voice as long as she lived. So, R17, your theory needs further proof.
I will admit that Johanssen usually has an unformed, childlike, dopey look on her face.
