I'm can't decide between a used Lexus ES or a new Buick Verano.
Any suggestions? The Lexus is only gently used.
Hey there, Haters, this is the year I'm going to to get my Lexus. Or a Buick, bitches.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz zzz z zz z
Lexus fo sho.
Never heard of a Buick Verano so I googled it. Meh, looks like a Hyundai Sonata. Get that instead and save $10,000 bucks.
Cheap Cunt @ R4. A Buick has panache and prestige. A Hyundai is a piece of shit.
Verano costs less than a Sonata. Get an ATS.
Keep in mind, the Verano is a gussied up Chevy Cruz which was designed by Opel in Germany. It is a much smaller car than the Lexus. The Lexus you might consider is the 200H. It's about the same size as the Verano and it's a hybrid.
The Verno will give you better mileage, but the ES will hold more of its value. The verano may give you better milage, but I drove a Cruz in Australia and it was pretty thirsty. The car had a tiny engine, I believe a 2L and I had to stick my foot in it to keep up with traffic.
You didn't say what year the ES is. You only said it was used. If it's a demo, you have little to worry about. Make sure the warranty is transferable.
kill . me. now.
Once again, what is with the zombies here?
R84 at link.
Americans should be buying domestic.. That said I looked at the ES-the back is small and meh.
I recently bought a used ES as a back up car. Had 235,000 miles on it. I was replacing an old volvo and was not going to be a daily driver. Lived out of town and need more than one ride out.
I haven't been out of it since I bought it. I love this car and don't ever want to go without one.
Where is the Lexus built if that is an issue. Many brands build cars here and some buicks a few years ago were actually made in Germany.
For me it is where is the car built not the company name. Many big US brands have long been built in Canada. It's a global industry
R5 Hyundai is building not only the best looking cars on the road but also they consistently rival or exceed the reliability of anyone on the road. Kia is right up there also.
GO look at the new Nissan Altima, the automotive press is wild about it. They called it the best of all the mid size sedans, the best seats in any production automobile. Google car reviews.
The Altima is built in Tennessee
A Buick? How old are you, OP?
The Buick is 20 year old technology, poorly assembled by a company, on its 4th CEO in 2 years, which has not paid back its taxpayer loan and will NOT be bailed out again.
Buy American or stop complaining about the economy.
What R15 said.
OP, spend more time doing research and less being a snob.
R20, the Lexus ES is built in the USA.
38 percent of Buick parts today, are made in China.
You sound Republican.
Hyundai/Kia is the only major car company in the world which still refuses to give its gay employees medical benefits.
Also, Hyundai/Kias have a notoriously bad reputation for long term reliability, so their resale prices drop faster than any other automotive brand.
