Whoops, nevermind. Another thread already underway.
Since most Americans live in urban areas, any presidential win is going to be given by them.
For a numbers wonk, he's rather numbers-challenged.
Already a 60+ post thread on this
Well good for him. Good for Paul Ryan, that wonky, intellectual genius of the Right. He nails it. Of course it was those basty "irban votes" and not his precious issues. I hope he clings to this belief and acts on it in 2014 & 2016. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Urban" is Republican code for "Black."
We're a Winner
Republican strength huge amongst bucolics.
No! R5, you must be joking.
My prediction is that the GOP will decide the message on issues needs some "tweaking," and the Hispanic vote needs some "tweaking" and they can move forward. Wait for it. They will test a new model in 2014.
They won't substantially change anything. Their basic message will be the same. But they will definitely try to pick off and divide the Hispanic vote and the women's vote.
Blacks & Gays they will throw under the bus. In their minds, this election is still "too close to call" and they only lost it by a little bit.
Now, if you go state by state, and precinct by precinct and analyze, as both sides are doing, you will discover that while in some areas it was one party all the way, in others they lost by only a couple of points, maybe a few hundred votes here and there. In short, the GOP is not going to change. But we knew that.
