Should CNN Anderson Cooper Take a Pay-Cut For His Low Ratings?

Right now AC360 is third in its time-slot. MSNBC The Ed Show is a solid second to Fox News Bill O'Reilly. And Anderson Cooper makes $11 million dollars for hosting a show that is third in its time-slot. New management will be taking over soon, and cost cutting will be taking place. Shouldn't salary be tied to the ratings? If so should Anderson Cooper take a pay-cut from his $11 million dollar salary for poor ratings.
