What the FUCK is wrong with Republicans?
In order to vote Republican, you have to believe such ridiculous things...
You have to believe the rich are too poor, and the poor are too rich. You have to believe too many people having health insurance is a bad thing. You have to believe that the party that wants to monitor and control things that go on in your bedroom and between you and your doctor is the party of "less intrusive government". You have to believe the party whose policies and votes are responsible for nearly 80% of the national debt is the party of "fiscal responsibility". You have to believe that women don't deserve equal pay for equal work, and that gays and minorities don't deserve equal treatment under the law. You have to believe that racism, sexism, homophobia, and xenophobia are perfectly normal and acceptable. You have to believe that a pathological lair and craven flip-flopper who is a documented bully and animal abuser, who made his money on the backs of working people through pure greed, and who is Mormon, is a "good christian"... while a decent Christian man who lives by the teachings of Christ is an evil socialist muslim communist. You have to believe that your taxes are too high when they've been cut to the lowest point in generations. You have to believe that math and science are just silly theories and aren't really true and don't really work. You have to believe that attacking and undermining the legitimately elected President and threatening succession is "patriotic".
How the fuck can nearly half the country buy into this bullshit?
- You have to believe that the Fox News Channel is fair and balanced and that Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity speak the truth.
- Republicans are basically the equals to the BNP in England.
- After the latest fiasco with Fox News, you have to continue to trust them and watch religiously.
- Not quite, R2. At the last general election in the UK, the BNP received 1.9% of the vote.
But%20I%20know%20what%20you%20mean
- I'd agree with OP, except for the fact that there are racists, misogynists and homophobes in the Dem Party ranks as well.
- Yeah, but it's not a core of the Democratic party platform, the way "Wealthy Straight White Christian Male Privilege" is in the GOP party platform.
- You have to believe that you are a great American because you were born of white immigrants and any of color are just leeches.
- Since most of them also believe God had a son, the earth was created in seven days and is only 6,000 years old, etc., and choose to live their life according to the rules in some book that some primitive peoples wrote 2,000 years ago to explain things they dind't understand (and then of course [pick and choose which parts of the book to believe based on their own peccadilloes), why wouldn't they believe the other stuff?
- in the words of one of their stalking horses: they are retarded.
- Right on, OP!
- R8,
Republicans do not actually not believe it, although they do give lip service to it.
It's hard to believe no one has stated the obvious in 9 replies. Isn't it apparent that Rep = Dem? It's all the exact same government and has been for decades, if not longer. Ever notice how cabinet members get recycled new administration after new administration? Ever noticed how a guy from a different party gets elected and nothing ever changes, despite all the promises?
The president has zero power and makes no important decisions of his own. Presidents are elected solely to give the appearance of a democracy. There is NO democracy. There is no republican government. There is only a few who run the whole thing behind a curtain. Go ask the people of Texas if they were ever given a chance to vote against the Trans Texas Highway. We're all fucked unless someone is able to murder some of the key families.
- Jesus Christ, step away from the internet, r11.
Go get some air.
- [quote]Isn't it apparent that Rep = Dem?
Nope, since it is manifestly untrue, and all you have to do is look at the history of the past 30 years to see how stupidly false that statement is.
- I hear you R11, but why wouldn't these families change with the times? It's been evident for sometime that the nation is on an unsustainable path.
- I mean if we hypothesize the military is behind it...well, then their acceptance of gays in recent years may be the story behind our electoral wins this year. But why would they want a GOP Congress? Surely they know it is weakening the country.
And how did the military change anyway? Wasn't that Obama's doing?
- You people really do know better. You all live in the same state... Denial.
- OP, you sound mental.
- R16, it's Republicans that live in the state of denial.
And R17, it's Republicans that are mental.
- Mitt Romney found out something that Republicans simply can't comprehend: If you cater to angry white men as the foundation of your campaign, you will lose.
- R14
That's a very thoughtful question. I can only speculate as to the answer. You would think that the all-powerful families could have shut down car production years ago. Could have had a decreasing population by now, too. My guess is that their driving motivation is only centered around greed. As George Carlin said, "They have almost everything and they want it all".
- Why are Democrats so obsessed with race?
- R21, they're not. They're just observing Republican/Conservative racism.
- It's a scary thought that STILL so many people voted republican!
anonymous
- Take a logic course. In order to vote Republican, you don't have to believe in those things.
- R24, anyone taking a logic course (and passing) could never vote Republican to begin with.
- All you fuckers discussing Dem/Rep is like discussing which outfit looked best on Devine. Who cares? Differences between Dems and Repubs is a carefully crafted illusion and Devine was a big fat pig.
- Divine.
Dear
- R26 wins False Equivalence Troll of this thread.
- Do you even know what "false equivalence" means, R26?
- r28
How so? Pay attention to what your politicians do, not what they say. Obama continued the Bush policies seamlessly. Devine would look the same no mater how you dressed her. A change in Devine's outfit is a lot like a change from Dem to Rep... it does not make two fucks worth of difference. Wake up and smell the salty pair of balls.
- R27 You mean he wasn't talking about Andy Devine?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Devine
- [quote]Differences between Dems and Repubs is a carefully crafted illusion
Moron. Just... no.
- You're just as dangerous trying to categorize/label. Go to hell.
- R32,
This is just the kind of stuff I've come to expect. The Truth Movement is not for everyone, although we ARE gaining ground. In 2008, there were roughly 10,000 votes for third-party candidate, Cynthia McKinney, who, I believe, was the only alternative to Dem/Rep. This year, third party voting topped 2 million. Two million is still small but that's a hefty increase.
Our media is an insidious form of relentless brainwashing. For example, I listened to CBC (Canadian hoser) radio for about a year. Like clockwork, the CBC runs one Jewish holocaust story every 3 weeks. I'll leave you to interpret that however you wish.
- [quote]Pay attention to what your politicians do, not what they say.
We do.
[quote]Obama continued the Bush policies seamlessly.
No, he didn't, which makes you either a liar or a fool.
- Could we please call upon a paying member to start a thread with the title:
Non-Americans unite! Keep the Repugs from our shores!
On the website:https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petitions more and more people are signing petitions for states to secede from the Union.
At the same time, petitions calling for the deportation of people signing those are getting more signatures.
It is time for the rest of the world to take a stand!
So to put oil on the fire, we have now created a new petition.
All non-Americans: take a stand and sign!
Let Americans deal with their own idiots on their own turf.

- r35,
I have a pretty good idea what you are (other than gay) and it's neither liar nor fool.
- OP - you don't have to keep writing these. Assignment's over. Geez.
- The core belief of Republicans: All for me, FUCK the rest! We are superior and not only do we look down on the common people, we tell them what to do and think! We are almighty gods (that's when they stumble and fall thanks to their own stupidity / overestimating themselves and underestimating others and situations).
- To be a Democrat, you have to believe that single mothers plus a government check is no different than a two-parent family, that printing money creates wealth, that debt never has to be paid back, that white men are never discriminated against (and should pay for the sins of past generations), that all we have to do to achieve world peace is play nice with our enemies, that we can really impact the environment (did Exxon cause the last ice age?), that you have all the answers, that anyone who opposes you is evil, racist, and the equivalent of the shit candidates who dominate the party, that growth under Reagan was not 9 percent in 1983-1984, etc. etc.
Of course if I really pointed out the flaws in liberal ideology, I'd be banned from posting again, and you guys would say there are no intelligent Republicans posting here, thankfully doing the audience's thinking for itself, because they might just not believe you otherwise, and you know what's best for everyone.
Good luck with the nanny state and using other people's money to fund the takers at the expense of the makers.
- R40, typical of a right-winger, nothing you stated is even remotely true.
But nice mindless regurgitation of some FOX News talking points, especially right there at the end. I don't think you have any clue who the real "takers" are in this country. Trust me, it ain't who you and Mitt Romney are blaming.
- r40, the 'makers' benefit from the opportunities and resources the country's offering (roads, education, etc.) as much as the employees and so called non-makers, but yet it's the employees and the so called non-makers who are supposed to pay taxes while the makers shouldn't pay taxes and have all the profits for themselves and just maybe throw a few crumbs to the lower and middle class. It's the 1%'s and the Republican Party's attitude that convinces people that capitalism (All the profits for me and let some stupid lowlife foot the bill!) is bad and socialism is good.
- R40, what's YOUR net worth? Just curious...
- The question is, what is RIGHT with these people?
- It's classic doublethink
- bump!
