She was a neighbor of sorts for a week ten years ago when we happened to be staying at the same hotel in Amsterdam. She was touring for "The Secret History" and I'd see her in the lobby, at breakfast, signing books, doing readings, just walking about. There were posters for her book on every post and pillar and surface, a book launch campaign like I'd never witnessed.
Meant to say "The Little Friend" -- had the dates and titles crossed.

The Little Friend was to The Secret History as Godfather III was to Godfather I and II - Not bad in its own right, but a terrible disappointment compared to the original.
Sherilyn Fenn should play Donna if they ever make a movie out of her life.
I agree, R3, she's very cute. Lovely eyes. No idea about the gay part, though, as she's very tight-lipped about her private life.
