Everywhere I go I'm hit up for Sandy donations...

But then I'm reading on Facebook that the Rockaways are a mess, people are looting, stealing food, people in housing projects are stuck with no power on high floors, etc, etc. So what's the deal? Are we not giving enough? Are we doing a shitty job of getting those funds to people who need it? What's going on?
