What the hell did Obama do that warrants impeachment according to the right?
"What the hell did Obama do that warrants impeachment according to the right?"
He's a bit brown to be in the WHITE House...
Racism, pure and simple. And they need to be called on it...
It's a long tradition. Second-term Democratic Presidents are impeached by the Republican House. Kind of a hazing ritual.
Nothing but Repugs will try and get revenge. Remember how they spent millions of dollars and time with Clinton and the blue dress.
He's a negro.
Imagine if 9/11 (the original) happened under the Dems and we all found out they were warned and they ignored it, resulting in thousands of people being killed on THIS SOIL, then instead of going after OBL, Obama said "I don't really think about Bin Laden." Then he used that tragedy and the raw emotions of the American people to convince them that a country and leader having nothing to do with 9/11 was connected to OBL, then lied about the threat that country posed because his people cherry-picked info to get a war they've wanted since long before 9/11.
But yes, clearly Obama should be impeached for four American deaths in a country going through transition where the president of that country apologized for what happened and the people rose up to drive out the terrorist group they held responsible for those four American deaths.
Republicans are just pissed because they couldn't handle that it was their party and their guy who destroyed this country, so they project their hate and frustration for what BUSH did onto Obama, because they never had the guts to call out their own shithead.
Outside of a few impeachment-happy Republicans, all of the Americans who give a hairy rat's ass about Benghazi could be rounded up to breakdance drunk on the head of a pin and never risk bumping into one another.
He didn't get the information "right" as they see it and, as they see it, he didn't provide sufficient security not heeding requests.
The problems are that not getting the information right is silly. There in fact were protests with respect to the film, as there were in Cairo. No matter what happened, it was an act of terror, as Obama immediately stated.
The request for more security was not for Benghazi but for Tripoli. Moreover, even if security had been beefed up per the request it would not have prevented the tragedy.
In other words, they are gripping at straws. And they are not serving their party well. If they had half a brain among them, they would put their energies into revitalizing and modernizing the Republican party into a cogent, constructive force rather than one hellbent on winning no matter what harm they inflict on the nation, and they would reform their party to one representing and welcoming all Americans and recognizing all of our rights.
But they don't have half a brain between them.

Yes, but Faux News is leading the way. On the night the East Coast was being decimated, they chose to spend the entire evening talking about Benghazi. They are not a News Channel and I would love to see cable and satellite systems drop them, but it will never happen. Murdock owns the FCC.
I think Fox News stock went down so they may have less viewership than before. Hopefully.
And even at that, R7, are "not getting it right" and not providing requested security to an office in Libya really grounds for impeachment? Really?
These people don't get that this is yet another reason they lost on Tuesday. They are nuts.
Rove and Cheney got the CIA to do something bad in Benghazi and now they are freaked that nobody gave a damn and Obama was still elected.
Are you saying all the Americans who care could fit on a bee's dick, R6?
Nothing. It's just the latest shiny object used to distract freepers from reality.
He went and got born black. That's what it's about for those evil nutjobs.
Benghazi is only a story to desperate Republicans who were looking for some great crisis to throw President Obama off his lead during the election. It hardly compares to 9-11 delivered by the asleep at the wheel Bush, who was rewarded with another term! The average American has no idea what Benghazi even is. Their obsession with it is bizarre.
It's simple, stupid OP. Barrack Hoosane Osama is from Africa and so is Ben Gazzi and they are in cahoots so he needs to be impeached! And he's a socialist! And that has nothing to do with the fact that he is a negro, or colored or whatever you want to call it! So there!
Yeah, Faux is desperately trying to make Benghazi "happen" but it's not working.
Normally they have been able to bully other organizations into taking their hysterical blathering seriously. This time, people just think they're being stupid and irritating.
Because the President got through his entire first term without anything that could seriously be called a scandal (and because if he stepped out, Michelle would probably kick his ass), the right-wing is desperately flailing around for something it can CALL a scandal. And it's not sticking.
Thousands of humans died in Iraq and Afghanistan -and these SHEEP are howling and screaming over 4 dead in BENGHAZI??????????
(Because the president is black)
He's been a huge success. If there's one things Republicans can't stand it's a Democrat who's been a huge success.
#11 is correct. That was their October Surprise and it failed.
Truth is, the U.S. is so war-weary that another suicide bomber or "Afghani girl beaten in the town square for wearing make-up" is no longer of interest. We're saturated with those nasty towelheads and tired of spending our money on them.
Halliburton et al has made their money. Bring our soldiers home.
You retarded , fact denying liberals have the facts and the truth that Obama purposelessly went missing for 9 or so hours after finding out about Benghazi, didn't even check to see the status of the situation , until he found out the next day that they were dead. Great leader ship skills , worthless, useless , lying , America hating President.
Four Americans, including a US Ambassador were killed by terrorists after not getting requested security support. Maybe there is no chatter about it because the Ambassador was gay. All you jizz chin bitches ,just think about what you would say had it been Bush.

Hands up: Who couldn't guess when you saw the date of the thread that a syntax-challenged moronic Freeper bumped it?
Such a pathetic idiot.
Nothing. The whole "campaign" is rather silly, but isn´t this like the third time they´ve insisted that he needed to be impeached over something or other? They got the taste of blood with Clinton and Lewinsky, and they can´t get it out of their system´s. They know that they can harass and impeach over bullshit, so it's what they do now instead of enacting valuable legislation or making effective change.
GOP Rep: I ‘Absolutely’ Voted To Cut Funding For Embassy Security
By Ben Armbruster on Oct 10, 2012 at 12:20 pm
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) said today that he voted to cut funding for U.S. embassy security amid political attacks from Republicans that the Obama administration did not do enough to secure the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya that was attacked last month.
Republicans and their allies have been trying to politicize the attack — which killed four Americans, including the U.S. Ambassador to Libya — suggesting, without evidence, the Obama administration may have ignored intelligence that the attack was imminent, didn’t properly secure the Benghazi compound and is now trying to cover it up.
But hidden beneath the GOP campaign is the fact that House Republicans voted to cut nearly $300 million from the U.S. embassy security budget. When asked if he voted to cut the funds this morning on CNN, Chaffetz said, “Absolutely“:
O’BRIEN: Is it true that you voted to cut the funding for embassy security?
CHAFFETZ: Absolutely. Look, we have to make priorities and choices in this country. We have — think about this — 15,000 contractors in Iraq. We have more than 6,000 contractors, private army there for President Obama in Baghdad.
And we’re talking about can we get two dozen or so people into Libya to help protect our forces? When you’re in tough economic times, you have to make difficult choices how to prioritize this.
What happened to the tradition I started? Why can't they comprehend "Impeachment is off the table"?
DId the republicans or other groups call for Reagans impeachment when that bomb in Lebanon killed over a hundred marines? Similar when 7 marines were killed in San Salvador from a drive by bomber under Bush 1?
Amazing how MSNBC was talking about Benghazi yesterday in terms of cover up, throwing Hilary under the bus, etc. Perhaps the Obama lap dog network is finally waking up. When their reporter mentioned Watergate type cover up I thought I was hearing things.
Thanks R30. Thought that was interesting too. In 2016 Obama will back Biden, not Hillary.
It's time to end this circus. Why does noone pay attention? I said, "Impeachment is off the table." I demand that all impeachment talk be stopped immediately. That's not the way we do things. We're more civilized than that.
R31 is exactly right. Obama is going to let Hilary take the rap. He's pulling for Ol Joe, the idiot.

Of course not. They're smart enough to know when to call for impeachment. The Dems still haven't figured it out or Bush would have been impeached.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
