How hilarious that the GOP under Michael Steele wound up being more successful than under that weasel douche Reince.

• Not before he's gang-banged by at least six likewise closeted Republicans.

• I did not see it, but on Twitter I read Michael Steele was almost gloating about the Republican disaster; did he really use the word spanked endlessly on CNBC?

• Yeah, he said "spanked" two or three times.

• R4, the GOP tried to blame him for the location of this year's convention. They treated him badly in the end, so I'm sure he's doing an Ed Grimley-like happy dance in private.

• Priebuus has one of the most unpleasant faces I have ever seen on a political official.

• On a semi-related note, I really appreciated how gracious Steve Schmidt was and how forthright he was about the GOP needing to change.

• Reince Priebus and Mark Halperin named new spokesmodels for Sour Patch Kids candy.

• Agree about Schmidt. Professional all the way. Rational. Courteous.

• That's why Schmidt's not on FOX.
