• Wonderful!! And, marriage equality won in Maine. Dems retain the Senate and probably increase (if slightly) the majority. Lots of good news. Colorado makes recreational marijuana use legal. But, seriously, since it's still illegal under federal law, will you ever really be able to legally smoke in CO?

• Congrats to our first senator who's going to LEZ up the Senate! This is dedicated to her and the equally fabulous Tammy Duckworth! Love you both!

• Her opponent, Tommy Thompson, based all of his TV ads on portraying her as a shrill, out of control, ultra liberal who was worse than Nancy Pelosi. Not a word on what his own qualifications might be. She has done an excellent job in the Assembly for many years, and that's what got her elected. Scott Walker must be so sad...

• I hope Dreier not only comes out, but calls out the Republicans for vetoing him as Majority Leader solely because of his sexuality.
