I hope you're right, that it is called quickly - but I fear that it may take days or longer.

Steve Kornacki posts here?
Why, R3?
Nope, I'm not Steve Kornacki, but I came out of the closet long ago, so on those few instances when I do post in this forum I always sign with my real first name and first initial of y last name.

As to why I fear it may take days, first there are the irregular voting ( eMail and fax ) sanctioned in New Jersey, all the polling place mess in New York, and finally reports of unusually large numbers of "provisional" ballots being reported all over the place . . . .these provisional ballots, by law, aren't even opened for eleven days . . . . and with the closeness of the anticipated voting I see armies of lawyers just standing by to contest things . . . and one the outcome of a critical state is in the courts . . . well . . .I do hope I'm wrong in my worry.

It will probably after midnight...a lot of big changes in how the media is reporting results.
Assuming no one fucks with our votes, this will be the breakdown:
Obama wins.
Republicans keep the house.
Democrats win the senate.

Romney pulling ahead in Ohio, doesn't look good.
link, please.
Romney is not pulling ahead in Ohio. Obama is well ahead in Ohio at the moment.
Um, no R10. Obama is currently at 58% vs. 41% for Rmoney
Exit polls, not vote count, show Romney ahead in Ohio.
Tuesday...Thursday...April...August....
Tonight, but what's with this New Jersey not being called till Thursday? Aw, don't fuck this up! Still, I can't imagine Mitt making any post Sandra headway in a solidly blue state.
Not looking good for Obama in FL.
It is a long wait for the California polls to close.
[quote] It is a long wait for the California polls to close.
Not that long. They close in a little over an hour.
not until Wolfe and Anderson have counted the votes
Romney and co. have been incommunicado for more than an hour; they're officially shitting their pants. It'll be tonight.
SKY News UK is calling it for Obama - another 4 years!
When will it be called? How about now, BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pleased to find ( this morning ) that I was wrong, and the race was called last evening - and even more pleased to find that here in Wisconsin Tammy Baldwin has become the first elected openly gay ( lesbian ) U S Senator.

Why are they still counting votes in Florida? The election is over, there is no point in counting the votes in Florida. At this point they are meaningless. They are not going to change the outcome of the election so why bother? Florida is such a stupid state when it comes to voting. Everyone on TV kept saying how important Florida was to the election, but the election has come and gone without the results of Florida. Guess it wasn't all that important.
R25, the Florida ballot was 10-12 pages long. It wasn't all about the President.
