Let's keep track of all the attempts at voter fraud across the country.
Post here if you see or hear of anything suspicious. Give us links to stories and tweets. Watch our for "Truththevote" bullshit.

True The Vote Barred From Ohio Polling Stations

The good thing about the video at r2 is that the mistake is immediately visible and more likely to be corrected or called out by the voter.
I'm more worried about 'gerrymandering' that goes unseen - like the Ohio "patch" that affects the final tabulation.
You can also tweet @866OURVOTE, using #OVLReport to report problems.

You realize that's not even remotely what gerrymandering means, right?
[quote][bold]gerrymander[/bold] |ˈjerēˌmandər| verb [ with obj. ] (often as noun gerrymandering) manipulate the boundaries of (an electoral constituency) so as to favor one party or class. • achieve (a result) by such manipulation: a total freedom to gerrymander the results they want.
So you're saying, R5/R8, that Ohio is manipulating the boundaries of voting districts, unseen and after the fact?
I get it, r9. You're right.
[bold]Reports from election observers and voters: Broken scanners and too many provisionals[/bold]
by Free Press staff
November 6, 2012
The Free Press is receiving multiple reports of ES&S optical scan machines in Cuyahoga County (Cleveland). One specific polling site where this is happening is the University Heights Library.
Also, at the Driving Park polling site in Columbus' inner city, many voters' names are not showing up on the voting list and they are being forced to vote provisionally.[bold] The lines for provisional voters are longer than the ones for regular voting. [/bold]
Another site for monitoring fraud here. A voter suppression map.
No link but someone called this morning trying to convince me that my voting pace had been changed at the the last minute, to a voting place on the other side of town.
I reported it.
What state, r12?
Was it a land line or a cell?
In a predominately African American county In Ohio- up to 3/4th of the people have been booted from the registrars database and forced to use provisional Ballots.
This is fucking crazy!
That is a HUGE number of people.
Rick Scott closed a lot of voter stations and it effects a lot of elderly voters, voters who can not walk two or three miles to a new polling station.
He's a disgusting pig, just about everyone in Florida hates this ignorant jerk.
R17 Is he a Rethuglican?
Authorities are investigating an apparent burglary at a residence of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco), officials with the Napa County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday.
Deputies responded to the House minority leader's home on Zinfandel Lane near St. Helena around 2:50 p.m. after an alarm was tripped at the residence, said sheriff's spokeswoman Capt. Tracey Stuart.
When they arrived deputies discovered two broken glass doors, one at the entrance to the main house and another to the pool house, said Stuart.
Department officials said it was not clear what, if anything, was taken because no one was home at the time the alarm company contacted authorities. Stuart said there was nothing unusual about the break-in.
"There was nothing left behind to indicate that it's anything other than a regular burglary investigation," Stuart said.
R13, it was my landline. I live on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. I *69ed the call but it was a blocked number.
I called and reported it, and reported it again when I went to vote. The guy I reported it to when I went to vote said he'd had 2 other people report the same thing.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
