Chris Kluwe does it again

The Minnesota Vikings punter has written a blog for the St. Paul Pioneer-Press which has been one of the paper's biggest online draws. Today the Pioneer-Press, while not officially taking a side on the Minnesota marriage amendment, ran an editorial that made it clear they were against same-sex marriage. Chris wrote on Twitter: [quote]"Sent my email to the @PioneerPress informing them I will no longer contribute to their blog network. It will be my last post on the site. • What made him such a vocal gay rights advocate? Not that I complain it's just so thrilling to have him on 'our' side.

• I like Kluwe, but he is starting to show some decline in his play, so I think that is what is threatening his job. That said, you have to wonder how much he has in common with his teammates etc. How many people can he have a conversation with. The Saint Paul Pioneer Press has always been considered the more conservative paper compared to the Minneapolis Star and Tribune. Their editorial view does not surprise.
