Jenna Wolfe ***DEMOTED*** on NBC Sunday Today to be replaced by Erica Hill

I know there is a thread on this, but this is a better subject title. After being fired herself, Erica Hill went around shopping for a new job at the various networks. She found an opening at Weekend Today when Amy Robach left for ABC. But the Saturday shift wasn't enough for her. She wanted Saturday AND Sunday (which was being held by Jenna Wolfe) So Jenna got demoted to newsreader on weekends, and now Erica Hill will be weekend co-host on both Saturday AND Sunday. Sound fair?

• Erica is more interesting and more photogenic than Jenna.

• Jenna is a lesbian and that's why she got demoted! While I don't like Jenna and her big mouth, I hate Erica Hill! She has bitch face!

• I have watched the Today Show 7 days a week for years. I have NEVER liked Jenna Wolfe...her voice is like nails on a chalkboard, her jokes aren't funny & she acts obnoxious...just gratingly annoying. • I love Jenna's energy and willingness to try new things to keep the show interesting! I give her lots of credit for staying with the show that disrespected her so much.She is showing that she isn't broken by a ruthless network. I watch lots of news shows and she is my favorite personality-fresh and different. As a person approaching senior citizen status, I have been disgusted by all the networks throwing anyone over 40 out and feel bad that Jenna got similar treatment. • NBC's hiring and firing practices are the real issue; about every ten years NBC IS THE NEWS. NBC's management style and employment processes need to be addressed. I was not a big fan of Jenna's; she is loud, winy, and obnoxious; but she did not deserve to be publicly humiliated by some old chick from CBX that cannot seem to connect with her audience. 1. I recall Deborah Norville was being harassed after replacing Jane Pauley; NBC did not come to her defense, which they should have. 2. Anne Curry fired and replaced by some non-American that kisses up to Matt, with a face like a horse. Matt with his ego, veto power and big bucks need to go next. 3. They let Natalie Morales go. If they wanted to replace Jenna, they should have given it to Natalie, she was on the NBC clock and we know her and her face. • Let's face it, women of color no longer have a place on the Today Show. Ann Curry, now Jenna...it is a change that speaks directly about the show's attitude toward inclusion. Sure Jenna (and Ann) had different styles. Instead of giving the viewers a chance to appreciate these differences, the Today Show's producers have made it clear that they like a more homogeneous approach to their Anchor Teams. The NBC is under new executive leadership and as usual in this kind of business the talent is at the mercy of management.
