Okay, I'm feeling better.

I was in a full fledged panic for about a week and a half about the election. Anyone else? things are swinging back in the president's direction though and now it's become apparent that, no, this country does *not* want to coronate Shitt and Ann Romney as its king and queen. Phew!

• Yeah, I was worried for a minute, too. But it's passed, Romney will not win. Game Over.

• Can we talk about the word "coronate". Lately, it seems that more people are using this as a verb. What happened to using "crown".

• I haven't let down my guard ... but I'm breathing easier. Cautious optimism that the right thing will happen.

• I am thinking it's over. The media tries to keep us all on tenterhooks by continuing to call Ohio a toss-up. I think Romney knows it too.

• Well the Examiner started talking about the "gag order" case involving the owner of Staples and his divorce. Put another staple in the campaign coffin.

• shut up, OP. I am tired of the see-saw histrionics of people who think they have to express their emotion of the moment about the outcome of the election. No one knows who will win, and confident statements about the outcome are unwise. I hope Obama wins too, but I am not going to make bold statements about the outcome, especially after witnessing what happened to his lead this month. We still have many twists and turns over the next 12 days, and no one should act confident or despondent. Just get out the vote!

• I'm not in panic but I wish this election was up to me. If I had to race someone, or do a dance off, punch them in the face, etc. I'd do whatever I had to to make sure Romney stays out of office.
