• He was Steve Rubell before Steve Rubell. And apparently from the obit, didn't do anything else after the early 70s (or 80s, if you're charitable).

• I think this is the same Steve Paul, who along with Gregory Dawson, produced all those revues at Rainbow & Stars in the early 90s, principally "The Rodgers and Hart Revue" with Elaine Stritch and Margaret Whiting? The obit mentioned nothing past the 70s.
