He was constantly in entertainment news, and constantly, if not "endlessly" discussed here. * TUS was a guess for every blind item around. * The number of people hit on by Spacey was hard to count. * We had his friend Dianne, worth so many months of laughs so much that it became a meme. * We had his 60 Minutes "I'm not gay" story, coupled with being outed on magazine covers, an epic tease v. denial if there was one. * His young male friends in London, his dog walking and assault in the park. • Spacey said in some interview that he'd stay at the Old Vic for a few more years then focus back on films. Implicit was the assurance that the work would certainly be there for him. He's of course done a few film parts while running the theatre and acting on stage. I'm guessing that when he's ready he'll be available - pushing - for more upscale character parts such as Hopkins, Rush, Freeman and Plummer do.

I remember an interview where he said that he had to eventually tell journalists what he's not but hasn't told anyone what he is. Albeit poorly worded. r24, I've heard from friends who work at the Old Vic that he's stopped all that, at least at the OV he has. As of 2009 he was still doing the 'inviting the very young drama school grads playing walk-on roles to share his dressing room' thing but maybe just to watch them, not try for any casting couch deal.

They met on the set of "Glengarry Glen Ross." Even though he did love her, he couldn't control his sexual appetite. And, after those rock climbing pictures came out, it was over.
